Moon Marketing Strategy
About

About

Moon Marketing Strategy was founded on the principle that smaller firms need the same kinds of creative, strategic marketing resources that big firms do. They need to supply sales teams with leads, use brand reputation to open doors, and deploy smart, modern marketing tactics to open new markets or launch new services. They need data-backed advice on their next high-growth line of business.

They just don’t necessarily need a full team in-house every day.

In addition to Erica’s CMO services, we’ve put together an experienced team of independent agencies and freelancers to create a full complement of marketing services. All members of this team are battle-tested at larger firms and agencies and have worked at the Fortune 500 level previously, but now believe in providing value for small-medium business.

We are remote-first but based in Austin, TX.

About Erica Moon

Erica Moon is a dynamic marketing executive with extensive experience in brand transformation and launching new business lines. She is currently a successful Fractional CMO and Marketing Batwoman.

As the in-house CMO of NextEdge, she successfully rebranded the company, merging eight regional businesses and launching a Clean Energy Division, which grew to $15 mil revenue in just 2 years. Previously, at VMware, she was a driving force behind the company’s SaaS transformation and built strategies that grew the Cloud and Kubernetes businesses to over $100 million. Earlier, at Dell, she introduced Desktop Virtualization and Education Laptop solutions, driving significant revenue with each launch.

Erica has a passion for finding creative ways to grow new businesses, enjoying Austin’s live music scene, and – somehow – continuing to adopt a growing menagerie of rescue animals.  She is currently up to 3 dogs and a cat and maintains a Costco membership mainly to keep them in food and treats.

Erica holds a BA from Stanford University, a SaaS Marketing Certification from Forrester, and a treasure trove of pithy sayings you may find yourself quoting more than you want to.
